Club Weekend Trips Overview (Sept-December 2009). Everyone

| EASTER TRIP -
TRAMPING IN THE TAUMARUNUI AREA: |
Day trips based from our accommodation at the
Taumarunui High School Hostel. Cost $22 per person per
night. Day trips will include Hauhungaroa Track in the
Purerora Forest Park, Mount Hikurangi (this mountain with its
flat top is a prominent land mark of the area). Kakahi
Glow worms, the historic Ongarue Bush Tramway (a remnant of the
Central North Is timber industry, Opotiki Farm Track and Omaru
Falls. Contact the leader Marlene Lynam, Ph 298 5622 for

Shane Lynam, the website guru, has updated the MTC Website and
given it a fresh new look!! Take a look around the site and
see what's new! Many new photos from MTC tramps appear at
the top of each page. |

| TUESDAY
TRAMPERS: |
Tramps run on Tuesdays and are now quite popular with many
members attending! There is no event schedule as tramps
are decided the previous Tuesday. Tuesday tramps start
again on 12 January!

Shane Lynam. Images to be preferably standard resolutions,
such as 640x480, 1024x768 etc (standard digital camera photos).
