Twenty-four  people turned out on a glorious day for the last event of the year - The Car Rally.

We started off from Roselands and meandered around Papakura looking for clues and trying to outfox each other by not letting on who had worked out what.

After climbing up Ponga hill and down again we ended up going through Clevedon and Maraetai, arrived at Beachlands before heading through the East Tamaki industrial area, and  after an exhausting 105 km we finally ended up at Ambury Park/Mangere Mountain where an enjoyable lunch was had by all.

Tom and Dianne figured out all the results and came to the unanimous conclusion that the rally was won by - guess who – US!  With a fine crew of observers and a lot of luck and some skulduggery of course.

Thank you Tom and Dianne for all the work put into this event, as always, enjoyed by all.
